Form of arts like painting, photograph, graphic and cinema are discussed in terms of image and frame in this article. Image concept is investigated in associated with various areas in visual arts in the study. Qualitative features and definitions of the image, image processing tools used over the ages have been involved in the study. Due to the nature of image, it has an existential relationship with viewfinder and frame. It is demonstrated that relation between artistic process like image perception, image process, reproduction and some technical processes like select, taking in viewfinder. It is known that artists select the image under the effect of her/his knowledge and perceptions as in the art of cinema, photo and painting. Select the image is make source of image settling on viewfinder or frame. Viewfinder and frame determine the most aspects for drawing the image border. Issue of image, viewfinder and frame is explained as regards of ideas of leading thinkers in the field of art and it is resulted.
