Handcrafts produced with traditional methods which are cultural values of countries, started to disappear today due to various reasons. However it is an undeniable fact that that one of the most important characteristics what makes a society a society is contemporary art and culture. The article narrates how traditional textile techniques are interpreted by current designers on the understanding of “Wearable Art”. Further, it is targeted to introduce traditional textile samples included in today’s apparel designer collections with visual data.
