Shell of apricot kemel is a product used as fuel. The purpose of the study is to examine the availability as a dyeing meterial of waste Shell of apricot kemel which the Shell of apricot that used in many fields such as food, cosmetic and pharmaceuticaal industries and to evaluate the dyed wool carpet yarns with subjective and objective methods. Dyeing recipes were prepared for the use of apricot kernel husk in yarn dyeing process. In the dyeing process, 48 dyeings were made without mordant and with mordant methods by using iron sulfate, potassium dichromate, tannic acid, tartaric acid and salt mordants. Dyed yarns were evaluated objectively and subjectively.
