While the progressive development of technology and the increase in its accessibility cause it to be used effectively in all areas of our lives, people's lifestyles are changing in parallel. As technological outputs such as smartphones, computers, tablets, and the internet are becoming widespread in daily life, the active use of the products such as CNC machines, three-dimensional scanners, and printers in industries enhances the interaction between human life and digital media. At the same time, this interaction directly or indirectly affects art, artists, and designers who/which inspired by the experience of society and life. Today, many artists benefit from technological products in the production, design, or exhibition stages of their work. Especially in recent years, the widespread use of three-dimensional scanners and printers has enabled artists to benefit more from these technologies and to produce remarkable novel works. In this study, it is aimed to present an example of the effect of technology on ceramic art and its development by including studies in which three-dimensional scanners and three-dimensional printers are used as tools during the production of ceramic forms. The point gained by this interaction between ceramic and technology today and its contribution to the differentiation and evolution of artistic expressions is explained through an exemplary study.
