Unlike traditional aesthetic theories, AI aesthetics is evaluated within a concept of beauty determined by datasets and algorithmic processes, beyond form, color, or composition. Technological advances have profoundly impacted the boundaries of creativity throughout art history, both cognitively and formally. In this context, just as photography, when it emerged as a collection of chemical and mechanical processes, brought into question the nature of painting, Artificial Intelligence (AI) today questions the concepts of originality, consciousness, and aesthetic value in artistic production. Art is no longer solely a human act but a collaboration between humans and machines (hybrids), and the practice of artmaking operates in a mutually interactive realm. AI systems (GAN and transformer-based models) combine the artist's prompts with their own autonomous production processes to create a hybrid creative space. This article examines the ways in which the formal and aesthetic interactions created by AI technologies in contemporary painting have led to a mutual transformation and reshaping process. The use of artificial intelligence in art production transcends traditional techniques, elevating artists' creative expression to new dimensions and radically transforming audiences' artistic experience. Consequently, the use of these technologies in the arts is creating a new paradigm in contemporary art practices.
