1545994584 COMPARISON OF FILMS THE DOUBLE LİFE OF VERONİQUE AND BLACK SWAN IN THE CONTEXT OF INTERTEXTUALITY TERM

The intertextuality is the approach that suggests that no text (a whole of words that make up with formal, expression and punctuation features - TDK) can be completely original, that it will carry traces of text or texts that have been expressed before it. Based on this thesis, although it is accepted that intertextuality will be as old as the history of human beings, its conceptualization coincides with the 1960s, the period in which the debates on postmodernism intensified. When examined carefully, it is possible to see that there are remarkable common points between any text and any other text written before it. In this study, the film “double life of Véronique” directed by Krzysztof Kieślowski in 1991 and the film “Black Swan” directed by Darren Aronofsky in 2010 will be compared with each other. The intersection points of the two films will be determined by the method of "Allusion" which is one of the intertextuality methods and which places the reader / viewer at the centre.
