1589464304 THE USE OF COMPUTER GENERATED SYSTEMS IN CERAMIC MASS PRODUCTION AND CONTRIBUTION OF CNC MACHINING IN THE CERAMIC INDUSTRY

From prehistoric times until today, human beings have wanted to shape different materials using various tools. The development process of human history began with the use of the first tool that they obtained by dressing stones or bones using a harder stone or bone. The inherent creativity of man has shown the signs for technological developments based on this process until today. Technological and industrial developments, in all aspects of our lives, began with the potter wheel used in ceramic forming methods. Ceramic throwing has developed and continued its existence with various methods such as the Computer Numerical Control (CNC-Computer Numerical Control) Method. Technological methods that continue to develop are used in industry in workplaces and by artists. With the industrialization in the ceramic sector beginning from the 2000s, new changes have been experienced. Such changes have helped realize the importance of the speed in production. The development of physical and mechanical properties of ceramics and pottery in production technology also expands the area of usage of the produced product. Today, designers and businesses benefit from the ease of computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) and use them widely in large and small scale factories in our country. CAD/CAM technology, which has started to enter almost every area of human life, continues to develop every day and is gaining importance as an alternative to production with traditional methods
